Hello and welcome to Blurry Cat Games. I’m Ryan Savage, a life long lover of tabletop games and founder of Blurry Cat Games. For many years I have been writing my own games, usually tabletop miniature games, but I largely kept these to myself. That has now changed and Blurry Cat Games was created to allow me to share these.
I have been playing board games for as long as I can remember. Tabletop miniature games first came to my attention in 1998 and I haven’t stopped playing them since. I am married with 2 children, who are 8 and 5 at the time of writing, and thankfully everyone in my family enjoys playing games. I won’t say who, but some people in the house can get a bit…competitive.
The Blurry Cat in question is based on one of my cats. Her name is Astrid and every morning she sits on my alarm clock to stop me from pressing snooze. She meows relentless until I get out of bed and give her breakfast. She only does this to me, no one else. Essentially, she is my daily motivator. Although she is less of a life coach, more of a drill sergeant. So, in the dark, without my glasses on, she is a blurry little black shadow of get up and go. I felt she would be an ideal mascot.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about or current titles, or anything you would like to see in future.
Thanks very much,
Ryan
